Author’s note: I’m no expert. So here’s a bit about my process.I read into what is going on astrologically—such as Mars moving into Leo, and the sign that the moon is in. I then look at the actual planetary alignments and, using my knowledge about those matters and current events, I combine that with my own practices. I don’t find a lot of this on the internet from another source. My sources are used as background information to help formulate my ideas, but it is not where the bulk of my ideas come from as they are my own.“You can close your eyes to the things you don’t want to see, but you can’t close your heart to the things that you don’t want to feel.” ~Johnny Depp
On Saturday, August 29th there will be a super full moon in the sign of Pisces.
Pisces is the sign of water and all those elements that are vast and unfathomable, such as our intuition and our capacity for love.
Usually Pisces is a dreamy sign, preferring the fantasies that exist within her imagination. However, because Jupiter will be forming a conjunction to the moon we may be feeling more anxious about using the emotional depths of this moon to gain greater insight about the steps taken in our journey that have led us to this present moment.
This is the fiery climactic emotional point that we have all been building toward since April.
Super moons are more potent than average full moons because of the close proximity to earth and this one will have us feeling our realizations in an almost cathartic and heavily climactic way. If it feels like there is a lot at stake right now in terms of emotional breakthroughs and developments—it’s because there is.
We are already in the build up phase to this moon, and may be feeling like we are barely treading water through the murky depths of our emotional world.
It may seem like we won’t make it through this challenging time—but trust that we will.
Not every full moon is a magical time, sometimes we are forced to dive below the surface and look at all of our sh*t that we have been hiding from. But, just because we aren’t going to be wearing our rose colored glasses doesn’t mean that this isn’t a moon that we won’t remember for a long time to come.
This moon is about us looking at each and every step we have taken in our journey—every single choice that has brought us to where we currently are.
Sometimes we reach certain points in astrology where the cosmos stop us in our tracks so that we can make sure that moving forward we are acting in the best interest of ourselves and our hearts.
Having Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Venus all retrograde is halting us in whatever progression we previously had been thinking we were achieving.
It’s a time when we are being asked to stop and evaluate if we are on the right path and if our heads and hearts are in alignment with our desires and goals.
Because of the heavy influence of emotional Pisces—this means that we will have reached a boiling point.
If we have been listening to our hearts, and following the path that truly feels authentic for us then this may lead us to feel love at a deeper level and overall satisfaction with our lives and our individual journeys.
On the other hand, if we have been neglecting our intuition and have been making choices that are not in alignment with our soul’s purpose then we are going to feel the wrenching sense of inner turmoil and unrest at where we currently are.
In a week’s time we will be asked to take a step back, out of our heads—and into our hearts.
We are being asked to sit quietly and see if where we are is truly where we want to be. We are quite frankly being given a time out by the Universe. Sometimes although we are adults, we don’t behave in ways that we should, or that we really want to—we all carry emotional baggage, and if we are still holding tight to those precious packages soon we become stuck and unable to move forward into our futures.
Right now is our time on the bench to think things through before the fourth quarter starts.
We are approaching the final four months of 2015—and it’s crucial that we enter into it as honestly and authentically as we can. This was promised to be a big year of change and revelation for all of us—right now is the time to evaluate how close we are to achieving the life that we envisioned when we rang in the New Year.
It’s normal to get off course and to lose ourselves along the way—but this moon is showing us that it’s never too late to get things right.
We are supposed to make mistakes, we are supposed to do the very things that we know we shouldn’t—and that is okay. No matter how far away from our authentic journey we may have travelled, we can always choose to stop and turn around—we can always choose change.
Just because things seem muddled or confusing right now doesn’t mean that we can’t correct our course so that we can see the life that we desire manifested into reality.
In order to do that though we are going to need to do more than just tread water through our emotions, we are going to need to swim the hell out of them—like our lives depend on it.
There is a difference between hiding under a rock and being in a time out—we have to make the conscious choice to sit with life as it is right now—no hiding, and no lying to ourselves this time.
We will be asked to sit with our thoughts, our dreams, our wishes, our heads and our hearts. We have to feel everything that is inside of us, both negative and positive, hopes and fears. We are to take this time out from the universe as the gift that it truly is—the gift of having retrospect revelations before the time has passed to do something about the choices we have made.
It’s about absorbing a life’s collection of lessons within the timeframe of only a few years, it’s about making the choice to find our own truth—and then making a life out of that.
Because the sun will always rise to start a new day—but it’s up to us to make sure that it’s the best one we can have.
